This was REHACARE 2026

REHACARE 2026 was all about meeting people, sharing stories and helping visitors discover how Ribcap can offer everyday head protection.

Every September, Düsseldorf becomes a meeting place for the rehabilitation, care, and mobility industries. REHACARE brings together thousands of visitors, healthcare professionals, organizations, and companies from around the world who are looking for solutions that will make everyday life safer, easier, and more independent.

Ribcap at REHACARE

  •
REHACARE has been on our calendar for years, and for us, it's about more than showcasing our protective headwear. It's about meeting the people who wear Ribcap, those looking for head protection, and the professionals who support them.

Once again, we shared a large, open stand with our partners, Pendulum and Anne-Lore by Van Herck. Each of us offers unique products, united by the same mission: inclusion and care.

At our booth, we answered questions, helped visitors find the right model and size, and most importantly, listened to their stories. Some visitors who discovered Ribcap here last year came back to see us. We also finally met in person with people we had only communicated with via email. There's something special about putting a face to a name; it made every conversation more personal.

For many others, this was their first introduction to Ribcap. We loved explaining what makes our headwear different: protection designed to look and feel like an everyday hat.

We welcomed occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nurses, doctors, and care staff from institutions. We heard how Ribcap could support the people they work with every day.

Bringing Ribcap closer to home

Ribcap is a Belgian company, but our community is international. At REHACARE, we spoke with healthcare professionals, distributors, and resellers about making Ribcap more accessible locally, so people can try it on before buying. Every new connection brings us closer to reaching more people who need it.

"Is Ribcap reimbursed?"

This was the question we heard more than any other, and how often it came up was striking. This shows that there is a need not only for protective headwear but also for better access and clearer reimbursement options.

We are actively working on this, exploring ways to make Ribcap available through healthcare systems and insurers in more countries. There is still work to be done, but we will share updates as soon as we have concrete news.

A look at our booth

Visitors were among the first to see our new rose baseball cap, launching soon. Want to be the first to know? Sign up for our newsletter, and we'll keep you posted.

Visitors could explore our full collection up close, seeing and feeling our different protective helmets to find the right fit and style for them. It was also a great opportunity to chat with our team, ask questions, and share experiences.

To help you find the right size, we handed out measuring tapes so you can measure your own head or the head of a patient or family member. We had flyers available in English, German, French, and Dutch, as well as our English catalog. Our youngest visitors received balloons and coloring pages, and there were plenty of curious little faces at our booth.
